Responsibilities
Reporting to the Senior Construction Manager, this role is reponsible for:
Preliminary Planning for System Installations
• Review field file with project coordinator to understand job requirements for materials and installation
• Ensure that all required materials and equipment are ready before starting work
• Purchase field materials not stocked by company that are necessary to complete installation
• Contact underground utility location services 72 hours prior to excavating
• Schedule subordinates and subcontractors to assist in system installations
Installation of Cathodic Protection Materials
• Supervise installation in accordance with job specifications and customer requirements
• Monitor progress of subordinates and subcontractors to ensure satisfactory job completion
• Notify supervisor of unanticipated field changes and suggest possible alternatives
• Revise installation plans as necessary to accommodate field conditions
• Take photographs of all construction sites before and after work
• Collect field data prior to the energization of cathodic protection system
• Energize system as directed by supervisor
• Prepare accurate dimensioned as-built drawings of installed system components
Additional Responsibilities
• Comply with all company policies, regulatory safety regulations, and code requirements
• Maintain continuous and profitable working relationships with customers
• Conduct toolbox safety meetings and document equipment safety inspection audits
• Train all subordinates in accordance with company safety practices

Qualifications
• Class A CDL, required
• 4 years of verifiable experience in cathodic protection installations

Position Purpose
This working foreman position leads the day to day operations at the construction job site. Foreman direct, supervise, and troubleshoot common issues that arise on the job. Duties and Responsibilities
• Responsible for time reporting for laborers and on-site personnel.

In area and out-of-area and overnight travel is required. To meet the travel requirements of this job, an employee must have the physical and mental ability to drive a vehicle for long enough to reach any area with reasonably short breaks. It also requires that the employee have the ability to fly as a passenger in an airplane as needed.
Qualifications / Skills

• Be a working foreman while leading laborers to complete jobsite related projects

• Reviews jobsite needs with the superintendents and foreman
• Participate in the activities of subcontractors and suppliers
