Dr. Brister joined Thrive Pet Healthcare in June of 2020. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M University’s College of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Brister is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association. Her veterinary interests include dermatology and preventative medicine.


Dr. Brister is a native Houstonian who lives with her husband, Ryan. In her free time, she enjoys competing in hunter/jumpers, running, and spending time with family. Dr Brister has one horse, named Bowman, that is her pride and joy.


Dr. Davis joined Thrive Pet Healthcare in March of 2023. She grew up in Houston, where her love of animals, science, and medicine began early in life. Dr. Davis earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology at Stephen F. Austin State University. She then graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Davis is passionate about small animal surgery and internal medicine. She lives with her fiancé, Jared, who is also an animal lover, and together they have three cats. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, painting, and just about anything creative.

Most diagnostic, surgical, and treatment procedures can be handled within the hospital. Evening, weekend, and holiday emergencies are handled by nearby Animal Emergency Clinics (AEC). The complicated cases and cases that need specialist intervention are referred to Board Certified Veterinary Specialists.
