This was hands down the BEST experiences I have had not only in Houston just in general. Everyone was so nice and attentive and had the best massage of my life. Unfortunately I live out of state but agin, best experience I know you’ll be back and this will be my first stop when I get back to town!


I found this place via Google last night. I typically visit trellis at the Houstonian. However, my masseuse was not available and I wanted something more reasonable last minute as trellis is $200+ for 50 minutes. I scheduled with Mrs. Judy. She had amazing reviews on Google, and had more than anyone else recently.I would like to say Mrs. Judy is amazing when it comes to quality of the massage. One of the best I've ever had. most people say they can do deep tissue but actually don't know what they're doing. Mrs. Judy did a very good job.The reason for three stars is because I specifically did not schedule a hot stone massage. However, when we got in the room, she stated she may need to use some hot stones if there was too much inflammation, I said ok, there was no mention of a charge for these hot stones, I also didn't ask for them. I should've known better. I went to check out with the front desk and went to leave a tip and realized I had been charged for hot stones that I did not request. The hot stones were not throughout the whole massage, but just a few minutes during the massage I guess because she noticed there was some inflammation. When I mentioned this to the front desk, they said there was nothing they can do about the charge because she infact did use hot stones, even if it was for a lesser amount of time than if i scheduled a hot stone massage. I didn't feel like that was fair. if I wanted a hot stone massage I would pay for that with no problem. I would much rather pay for what I know I scheduled. quality wise Mrs. Judy is an amazing masseuse but if im going to pay $165 for a massage (should have paid $125) I can go to trellis for $200 and have access to the spa and its ammenties all day.


Carolyn is absolutely incredible. I was in an accident a few months ago and come regularly to see her and she has helped me so much. The space is so tranquil and welcoming. I’d recommend anyone here!


I have been going to River Oaks Advanced Bodywork’s for over a year now and have had great sessions with a number of therapists. I recently had to reschedule and had a session with Ms. Judy. She was professional, focused on the areas of need and did a great job. I would recommend her to anyone.


Oof. I had high hopes for this place after it was recommended and seeing the positive reviews. Unfortunately, while she seemed very nice, I couldn’t communicate with my massage therapist. Not a huge deal, but kind of tough for a treatment that’s somewhat medical in nature. (I’ve been to many massage spas before where the therapists don’t speak English, but usually that’s a $50 thing, not a $200 thing).She was supposed to be doing lymphatic drainage, but it was unlike any lymphatic drainage I’ve ever had before. She was just kind of lightly patting my skin. I tried to explain that I had signed up for proper lymphatic drainage, but as she didn’t really speak English, I wound up just leaving. It was an unfortunate waste of time.The front desk staff was apologetic, but they were not able to do anything to make it right.Overall I didn’t find this place this place to be very professional and I won’t be returning.


My husband surprised me with an appointment here for my first prenatal massage. It was amazing! This is a hidden gem in Houston. Judy was my masseuse and she made sure that I was comfortable the entire session. I highly recommend trying them out and ask for Judy.
