4worldlovers: Finca Tres Robles began in 2014 on a longtime vacant property and slowly transformed into a fully functioning farm operation.

The farm goes beyond our food to provide opportunities in education, employment, and more.

We have secured a new home for 40-years enabling us to build a new farm that can provide even more to our community.

Small Places is raising $2.7 million over the next 24 months from philanthropy to fully develop the new Finca Tres Robles farm with improved farm land and additional mission critical infrastructure, to expand programming, and to improve the health outcomes of even more residents in the East End.


Finca Tres Robles believes that the food we produce at our farm should stay in our neighborhood. We are developing new, innovative, and practical ways to get our produce to those in our community who need it and to build a foundation of supporters and partners that can help us make that happen.

It’s important to us that our produce be accessible to all people and there are a number of ways to access our produce to fit your needs.

It is very important to us that the farm be a space for people in the Houston area, especially young people, to experience agriculture firsthand. We host groups from all over Houston and people of all ages to learn more about where their food comes from and how they can find their own way to participate in farming and agriculture.

At Jolie Vue Farms, we take it back to the basics — slow food, raised naturally, packed full of nutritious good fats, high protein, lean meats.

Jolie Vue Farms rejects modern concepts of artificial fertilization of the soil, the pesticides and the herbicidal destruction of nature's “unwanted weeds and insects.” The weeds and insects play an integral part in Mother Nature's design.

Cattle were made to prosper on the natural salad bar found in our diverse, native grass pastures, and they do that on our farm. It takes a longer period of time and daily labor to get there, but our grass fed beef is a superior taste to anything you will find in the conventional market.

Within large boundaries that we establish in our native oak and pecan forest, our pigs are free to roam, root, recreate and rest within that cool, shady setting. Our pasture raised pigs dine on grasses, wild fruits, berries and grapes, pecans, acorns, and sprouting tap roots, supplemented by barley, corn, roasted beans, peaches, apples, peanuts and even beer.

We never ever give our cattle antibiotics or added hormones. We dry age the entire side for 14-21 days which makes a big, big difference. We have carefully refined grass management for the Gulf Coast so that we minimize the need for processing the grass or hay, while still having clean, healthy, thick grass available to our roaming cattle.
